Owner and operator of the climbing gym "Kletter & Bouldertreff" is the Tourismusverband Tannheimer Tal, Vilsalpseestr. 1,6675 Tannheim (www.

The term users refers to both sexes (women and men) and minors. Guests, spectators or other persons, without active use of the climbing gym, are also subject to the hall regulations and the applicable regulations and provisions. 

The climbing gym "Kletter & Bouldertreff" covers all areas: entrance, foyer, cloakrooms and sanitary facilities, stairs and boulder area incl. the training equipment.

The term climbing and bouldering system is to be understood as those areas of the facility intended for active use (bouldering, climbing).

Some of the parking spaces belong to the Kletter & Bouldertreff and partly to the tourist office. There is no claim for users of the Kletter & Bouldertreff on these parking lots. Parking subjects to availability.

The notice with the general business terms and the hall order is in the entrance area and contains the substantial information for the use of the Kletter & Bouldertreff. Further information can be found on the website Each user has to inform himself in advance about the general terms and conditions and the hall regulations and confirms the acknowledgment of this with the signature on the registration form.

Prerequisite for the use of the climbing & bouldering hall is the registration by means of truthfully filled registration form (as download or locally when buying a ticket to fill in). By signing this registration form and paying the entrance fee, a contractual relationship between you as the user and the operator becomes legally valid. The terms and conditions are an integral part of this contract. We reserve the right to change them. You will find the currently valid general terms and conditions or hall rules on the website or on the notice board in the entrance area of the bouldering facility.


  1. Usage

The use of the climbing and bouldering hall is subject to a charge. The prices are based on the currently valid price list. Only with a valid ticket, filled in and signed registration form, notice of the terms and conditions and the hall rules, the use is permitted. This must be presented as evidence throughout the stay in the climbing & bouldering hall. Anyone who is found without a valid ticket in the climbing and bouldering hall, has to reckon with corresponding consequences - such as the reference or even an ad. All tickets are not transferable to other persons.

In the cloakrooms lockers are available for free use. The lock key must not be taken when leaving the bouldering hall!


  1. Personal responsibility, risks and liability

The bouldering and climbing and staying in the climbing & bouldering hall is at your own risk and responsibility! Each user submits to the registration and the signed signature of compliance with the terms and conditions and hall rules.

Bouldering involves an incalculable residual risk and requires a high degree of self-reliance and mutual consideration. It is also associated with risks of injury that can not be completely eliminated by the operator, even if all rules are adhered to and the user is extremely careful.

The bouldering as well as the spotting require a corresponding degree of concentration, the stay in the lintel area (mats), apart from spotting, to keep free. Each user must be aware of the risk of injury when falling. Each user is obliged to inform the staff about further safety precautions that can not be covered by these terms and conditions or the hall rules and to comply with appropriate instructions. Bouldering without spotting is generally allowed if the user is aware of the increased risks in the event of a fall. In this case, the operators explicitly reject liability in case of accidents. Other users of the facility are required to correct or report offenders to the staff.


4.     Toprope climbing (front wall area)

No liability is assumed for accidents. Toprope climbing involves an incalculable residual risk and requires a high degree of self-reliance and mutual consideration. It is also associated with risks of injury that can not be completely eliminated by the operator, even if all rules are adhered to and the user is extremely careful

For the lead climbing or as second climber it is essential to get acquainted with the required equipment (belay device, rope, harness, etc.)

The equipment must comply with the standards (CE standard, UIAA standard) ATTENTION the period of use of the manufacturer must be observed.

Carabiners and lockable parts must be or locked.

Basically, climbing is only possible with safety rope. Climbing without a rope is not allowed.

All express slings must be hung. ATTENTION handles can twist or break.

Barefoot climbing and climbing with street shoes is not allowed for reasons of hygiene. A partner check should be done before every start, the constant control of the climbing partners is a fundamental building block in climbing sport and helps to avoid accidents. Furthermore, the belayer requires the full concentration to optimally protect his partner.

Climbing is strictly prohibited.

When staying in the climbing area, the fall zone is to be considered (pendulum fall)

Toprope climbing on interim backups is not allowed.

The independent relocate / attachment of holds or securing points is prohibited without exception. Report loose holds and other defects to the supervising person or the operator.

The use of the "Topas" self-belay device is at your own risk.

Hooking two ropes into a carabiner is strictly forbidden (tear in the rope due to melt combustion).

Wearing jewelry or other loose objects is prohibited. Open hair must be tied together.

For garment and valuables, as well as for personal injury and property damage, the operators disclaim all liability. This also applies to the items stored in the lockable wardrobes and lockers, in particular valuables.

Whoever causes harm or injures persons, has to bear the consequences himself. The operators assume no liability for this. The user undertakes to indemnify the bouldering hall from all damage caused by him directly or indirectly during the use of any kind. Damages are to be reported to the employees of the bouldering hall without being asked.

The Kletter & Bouldertreff represented by their organs, vicarious agents and other personnel are liable only in cases of damage caused by intentional or grossly negligent behavior.


5.     Handles and kicks

Changing handles and kicks is not allowed without the consent of the staff. Loose structures and other defects in the climbing and bouldering hall must be reported to the staff immediately. Every user is aware of the risk that handles and kicks can turn under load and, in extreme cases, break. The user bears all risks in this regard. 

The application of markings by tape, chalk etc. is not permitted.


6.     Use by minors

Minors from the age of 14 up to the age of 18 may use the climbing and bouldering hall independently, provided that the parent or legal guardian gives his consent to this in writing on the registration form.

Persons under the age of 14 (minors or children) may only stay in the climbing and bouldering facility accompanied or supervised by an adult. He is responsible for the minor and must ensure that only in that area of the climbing & boulder hall is bouldering, which corresponds to the respective knowledge and skills. The operator declines any responsibility. In particular, when bouldering at a higher altitude is to pay attention to the danger of falling and spotting as needed. The hall personnel may expel minors and accompanying persons who act negligently from the hall. The stay on the mats is only allowed for bouldering, any running around and playing is prohibited.

A separate registration form must be completed for both the minor and the adult. Employees are free to check the climbing skills of the minors if necessary and to limit them to certain areas of the climbing and bouldering facility. The adult accompanying the minor is fully responsible for any personal injury or property damage caused by the minor.


7.     Use by groups / courses

The climbing and bouldering facility offers courses aimed at learning and / or improving abilities in all areas of climbing. The abseiling devices and possibilities for climbing with rope under the supervision of the trainer reserved.

Information on the specific courses, their dates and costs can be found on the website and in the notice board. Registrations are available via the website www. or by mail to possible. The number of seats is limited, the order of incoming payments, the participants are determined. Participants who can not be considered will be informed immediately. The payment will be refunded. Only after receipt of payment of the total course fee per participant is the registration for the climbing & bouldering facility binding and the participants place reserved. Payment must be made no later than 10 days before the start of the course. In the event of late payment, the eligibility to participate, but not the obligation to pay, ceases to apply.

External courses may only be held with the prior permission of the operator.

The leader of a group bears full responsibility for its participants. Reserving walls or sectors is not allowed. Groups behave calmly and considerately towards other guests.


8.     Personnel

When entering the climbing and bouldering facility, the staff must be presented with the unsolicited subscription or with a ticket. The valid ticket is to be kept during the entire stay in the climbing and bouldering facility. The staff reserves the right to random checks. Safety and other instructions of the personnel must always be followed; otherwise, use of the facility (without reimbursement of the entrance fee) may be prohibited.

In case of vandalism and theft, the personnel are obliged to report the fallible person to the police.


9.     Bouldering

It may only be dropped out of the wall in the designated areas. After leaving the area, leave this area immediately. For walls without exit you must not be on the wall cover.

Parts of the facility may be inaccessible for bouldering and overhauling, and even the entire facility may be closed to normal bouldering for events and competitions. A total closure will be announced in advance in each case. In the cases mentioned, holders of subscriptions are not entitled to a refund.


10.  Order and hygiene

The entire climbing and bouldering facility including sanitary facilities and cloakrooms must be kept clean. Footwear (sneakers, flip-flops, climbing shoes ...) must always be worn in the climbing and bouldering facility. Bouldering is only allowed in clean climbing shoes or indoor sneakers. The magnesium must not be carried along with bouldering, but must be deposited at the edge of the mat.

When bouldering and spotting the phone or listening to music with headphones is not allowed.

The consumption of food is allowed only in the designated area, not on the mats. The carrying and consumption of drinks is strictly prohibited in the climbing and bouldering facilities. No glass in the climbing & bouldering facility!

The valuables and bags should not be taken along during bouldering, but deposited in the existing lockers.


11.  Smoke, alcohol and drugs

A general smoking ban is valid in the "Kletter & Bouldtreff". The use under the influence of alcohol and drugs is not allowed!!


12.  Allergy sufferer

In the climbing and bouldering hall, an increased particulate matter pollution by the magnesium used in the air can prevail. Allergy sufferers have to take appropriate or preventive measures. In case of problems, the climbing and bouldering hall should be left immediately.


13.  Data protection

The user agrees that the data collected in the registration form may be used for the purposes of contract performance and internal marketing purposes. Furthermore, the user agrees to accept the electronic mail address specified by him in the case of direct marketing received electronic mail. A revocation of this consent is possible at any time by email to


14.  Consent pictures and films

The user agrees that pictures/films made in "Tanni's Kinderparadies" may be used by employees or by third parties, even without his knowledge and name, for advertising and presentation purposes. 15.  Exclusion of users

In the event of a violation of the terms and conditions or hall regulations, employees of the climbing & bouldering facility have the right to expel users of the climbing and bouldering facility. In the event of repeated violations of the terms and conditions, the hall regulations and non-compliance with orders of the employees, a permanent ban on the house can be issued against the user. In both cases there will be no refund of the price of tickets already purchased of any kind. Annual or daily tickets will be canceled.


16.  Refund of tickets

The refund of the money for annual tickets in case of injury or permanent illness (presentation of a medical certificate) is not possible. In this case, the validity of the annual ticket is extended or adapted to another period. For day tickets this regulation does not apply.

Annual tickets must be personalized and therefore can not be used by more than one person.


17.  Venue

The district court Reutte is responsible for all disputes between the user and the operator. Austrian law applies.
